Sydney Waitangi Day Festival 2018

Tena koutou katoa, the Church of Te Wairua Tapu fellowship joined with many other NZ citizens yesterday at the Sydney Waitangi Festival.

In excess of 6000 people attend the festival which has been held for more than 10 years and seems to get bigger every year. However, thank goodness the weather was not as intensely hot as it has been in previous years, which resulted in a great day of food, culture and entertainment.

Thanks you to the fellowship that helped at the Gates.

Thank you to Waitangi Day Festival organisers for an absolutely beautiful day.

God Bless and see you again in 2019.

Bishop Ngarahu Katene Visits Te Wairua Tapu

The Church of Te Wairua Tapu congregation sincerely thanks Bishop Ngarahu for sharing Karakia and lunch with us today.

Bishop Ngarahu (Bishop of Te Manawa o Te Wheke) celebrated his 10th anniversary as Bishop in October 2016 and was the Minister at Te Wairua Tapu before Archdeacon Kaio Karipa took over in 2000.

It was great to see the Bishop again and we wish him, his wife Kamana and whanau a very blessed New Year and safe journey home.
