anzac church service 2010
the sydney maori anglican church of te wairua tapu and the new zealand veterans in australia (new south wales) conducted an anzac service on sunday 2 may 2010 at 10:30am. This is an annual event and this year in celebration of the 25th anniversary of community fellowship the new zealand veterans have invited some distinguished guests one of whom is sir ian turbott Kt., AO., CMG., CVO., CStJ., FRSA., FAIM., FAICD., Hon.D.Litt (UWS) a NZ World War II Veteran. however we also invited John Williams as the maori and business community leader and david williams the indigenous veterans president. But it was also nice to see george clarke and richard matenga from corrective services.
